How it works
Each problem type is a template: some variables with ranges, a few rules (assets have to be bigger than liabilities, that kind of thing), and the solution written as a small math expression. The app fills in new numbers, works out the answer, and can show every step.
Grading has three levels. An exact match is right. If your answer matches a known mistake, it tells you which one, like "you subtracted dividends, but dividends aren't an expense." If it matches a common slip worked out automatically from the solution, it tells you that instead.
A template only goes live once its formula reproduces the worked example from the course reading. I used it from my phone over Tailscale. There are 48 tests.
Status
It's an experiment with one hand built template so far. The plan was to pull problem types out of the course readings automatically and add a tutor that answers questions from those readings, but those parts are only designed. It's built to make practice problems, not to answer live homework.
